BACKGROUND

 Having served as an in-house  marketing & PR director, a marketing consultant, and a non-profit development officer, McKenzi developed a passion for affecting change through creativity, with a strategy-first approach. 

With a speciality in editorial marketing, McKenzi has worked with Southern Living, Carolina Home & Garden, PBS, Fine Homes Magazine, Our State, and a variety of other publications. 

Throughout her career, McKenzi has received over 30 marketing awards, and was named the NCHBA Marketing Professional of the Year in 2022. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications (Advertising), and numerous certifications in inbound marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising. 

McKenzi is passionate about public service, and serves as a board member for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, the chairperson for the Builder's Association of the Blue Ridge's marketing committee, and  a member of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.  She lives in North Carolina with her husband and two adorable rescued pups.
